Prior to joining Sequentis Capital, Cissy had experience working in both active and passive investment roles. During her time at BlackRock’s investment consulting team in San Francisco, she conducted portfolio analyses, asset allocation and risk analyses for institutional clients. Prior to that, she sourced and analyzed real estate, private equity and hedge fund investment opportunities at Rogers Investment Advisors in Tokyo. She also had experience conducting macroeconomic research at Harvard Business School.

A champion of girls’ rights in developing countries, she volunteers her time at Girl Up, a non-profit organization under the United Nations Foundation. Outside of work, Cissy is a frequent visitor to the many art museums in the New England area.

Cissy holds a B.A. in Economics and Art History from Wellesley College and is fluent in Mandarin.
